Surrey with the Fringe on top ...

Seabrook Farm

Established 1832

Location – Skull Creek (a branch of the Chechessee River), Hilton Head Island, St Helena Parish, Beaufort County, South Carolina

I am staying on Hilton Head island this week and walk past this old restored Surrey each morning. I took these photos to share with you and will share other photos all this week so please come and tour along with me.

  1. What a beautiful old surrey! And lucky you to be at Hilton Head this week.

Thanks for your kind words on my blog. Maybe I will try the homemade dough sometime. You mentioned grilling pizza. We've done that, only really cheated and used a Boboli crust. I've been too afraid to try laying that raw dough on the grill!

  2. Hi Joyce! Beautiful shots of old buggies. Ahh...yesteryear was a less hectic place.

  3. Oh I am so jealous ... I seem to be jealous a lot lately and green has never been my color ... ;-) xo

  4. What a week! Enjoy yourself and nice pics.

  5. What a nice place to visit - thanks for sharing your photos with us.

  6. What a beautiful place! We've always wanted to go there - I'll be looking forward to more pictures!

  7. Hi Joyce, love your pics. Also, love Hilton Head Island....so beautiful!!

  8. Oh, how lovely! I would love to go there! Have fun and I'll be looking forward to seeing more!
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia :)

  9. Did you get to go for a ride in the surrey...when we were in Charleston we rode in a surrey...was great and fun....have a wonderful time...
    Mo ;-)

  10. Beautiful and interesting pictures!...Christine

  11. Beautiful pictures. I love the history of the South. I was visiting S.C. a few months ago and Hilton Head was on our itinerary but we had to change that at the last minute. So, I am so excited to see & hear everything about your trip.

    Have a great time! :-)

  12. How fun Joyce!
I have heard that it is wonderful.
Can't wait to see all your gorgeous photos soon.

Have a blessed and safe trip.
    ~Warmly, Melissa :)
