Let's discuss my dieting...

Why is it that when I am trying to diet I keep dreaming that I am being held hostage in a bakery surrounded by wonderful, delicious, sweet tasting, chocolate, carrot, lemon, angel food, strawberry, cream filled CAKES?

Don't even think about calling in the Keebler Elvs to negotiate my release
as I don't want to wake up from this wonderful dream!

  1. Awww, cute post. I need to diet myself, and seeing all those goodies -- especially the Napoleons -- didn't help! LOL!

  2. How funny. I guess in a way I am lucky,,,sugar gives me a headache; therefore pretty easy to stay away from it. BUT I could eat a large bag of chips in one sitting...love salt!

  4. Sweets, especially anything chocolate, is MY downfall! And why is it that every commercial is about food?!!!! I'm doing really well with my exercise. I'm trying to watch what I eat too, but life seems to want to sabotage me.

    Hugs!

  6. I agree. After having my child, um 11.5 months ago, still haven't lost the weight I want too but I'll get there. Did I mention that I made your Chocolate Cake for Mother's Day. In fact I made 2 one for my mom who is Drivin 55 and one for my MIL. It was wonderful!

  19. Dieting is no fun....the Boss has lost 8 pounds in the past 11 days by not drinking his daily dose of Snapple....I on the other hand have rediscovered BBQ potato chips.....Not good.

  20. Oh good grief! No wonder you loved my cupcakes! Couldn't you just roll around in all that?? :) I DO love sweets! You can imagine how difficult it is to have a BAKERY in your family. What I didn't say in my post is that my daughter in law brought me a special serving of chocolate bread pudding which I adore! It's no wonder I only made through half my cupcake. Diet? I'll start tomorrow for sure!
