Beautiful beads from a talented blogger...

A short time ago I was lucky enough to win a wonderful giveaway hosted by Kathi @ This was a true double header giveaway. Not only was I able to pick the color of my beautiful ring but as part of the giveaway I was also able to have one sent to one of my best friends who loves the color purple. THANK YOU Kathi.

The packaging is just lovely. The filigree ring came in a little brown box stamped with a cute little bird and wrapped with a green bow. Inside the box nestled on a little straw birds nest sits a cute drawstring pouch with the little bird stamped logo. Within this little pouch held my prize. I had picked a beautiful orange cut flower ring. My photo does not do the ring justice so please go to her etsy shop and also her blog to view her amazingly beautiful vintage creations. You will not be disappointed.

What better way to start your Christmas in July shopping then from the comfort of your own chair in your air conditioned home by ordering some vintage jewelry from Kathi?
All the money you will save on gas can be used to purchase an extra piece of jewelry just for yourself and honestly don't we all deserve some pretty jewelry?

  14. Hi Joyce,

I would like to pass you the 'Kreativ Award'. Do check my blog to see what it's all about. Thanks for the great recipes you've shared.

  15. Hi Joyce!
    What a pretty ring..

  16. Hi Joyce,
Thanks for stopping by and leaving the nice comment. I've been checking out some of your cooking posts --- everything looks and sounds wonderful! I hope you'll try your hand at a tablescape sometime. Some of the nicest I've seen use simple dishes, but focus on colorful combinations (and I've noticed people are mostly interested in what's ON the plates ... mine are usually bare ...). ;)

    Have a great weekend!

  17. Hey Joyce....your very lucky...I never win anything in the blog give aways...The ringis adorable and two for the winning of one!! Hope your having fun in HH....can't wait to see you on 8/14....hope your picking out a good apron to wear....How is Annie and Finley doing...

  18. Go to Lowes and buy some sticky traps. I use them for spiders but have caught a couple of mice too. When the dog stepped on one, I heard a huge flopping sound but she escaped somewhat traumatized. The traps are very effective. Elizabeth's NYC landlord uses them but even a stuck mouse freaks her out, country girl that she is. Wait til the gecko dies to remove him or touch a stick to the trap... it will get stuck and you can carry it all outside... am I heartless or what??? That gecko on TV is kind of cute:)

Thanks for peaking in at my blog! Come back and visit again.
