Where is the month of July going already? I love the summer and am savouring every single minute. For more fun summer stock Sunday photos head on over and visit our lovely host Robin.
A few weeks back I posted about what was growing on the little farm on Hilton Head Plantation. The crops are maturing and there are colorful flowers for sale. I like to bike over to the farm stand on Saturday mornings to see what is being sold. I let the fresh fruits and vegetables dictate my weekly menu. Looks like a week with lots of yellow squash on our menu along with some juicy blueberries.

That sounds so nice. Biking to the market for fresh veggies. Don't you just love the summer!
ReplyDeleteGreat, colorful summery photos. Squash and blueberries sound great!
ReplyDeleteMarkets look so inviting - come smell the flowers - and the fruits and the honey - meet some people - great summer experience!
ReplyDeleteOh, this has summer written all over it. I went to my first outdoor party yesterday and everyone was exclaiming how fast the summer was going! No one ever says that about winter!! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteI only bring that up because I have yet to go to the farmers market and I have a bike with two flat tires (when I say have, I mean someone left it here, so I am going to use it!!)
Keep enjoying your summer! You are inspiring me!! :-)

Your summer sounds lovely! I haven't been on a bicycle in years, but it would be fun to go to a farmer's market that way! ENjoy your day. Love your pictures!
ReplyDeleteYour mosaic is wonderful! Looks like a lovely time. :0)
ReplyDeleteI could live on fresh veggies and fruits. I love this time of the year.

Summer Is slipping by quickly...I have been out a lot trying to enjoy the good weather. I checked out all your recipes in the post below. I like the spinach bake and turkey burgers and that frozen strawberry dessert! The Kraft web site has lots of fast and easy recipes which are great fro summer.

ReplyDeleteI saw my first Back to School ad today!!!!! That's almost as bad as the Hobby Lobby Christmas decorations that are already on display. I love summer - winter gets waaaaayyyy too much of the year. I think I will spend this day just enjoying the heat and the sunshine:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place to shop!
ReplyDeleteI would love to live somewhere like this and have a little stand, of course, it would have to be close to the beach!
ReplyDeleteI checked the prices on the board — fresh and reasonable! My Gerbera daisies are over now, it's too hot and humid, so I loved seeing pics of one of my favs.
Keep bikin'!
How did I miss this last week?? Farm stands make great photo opps, don't they. I'm in deep lust over your blueberries too - I'd need to take out a second mortgage just to make a pie here in Israel. Since it's really too hot to grow them berries are a real delicacy here - and priced to match.
