This past week my daughters friend joined us on Hilton Head with little Oliver for some sun, surf & sand. Oliver was not a big fan of the ocean but enjoyed playing with water in the beach bucket. As all babies do he had a few tastes of the yucky sand. Due to the heat index it was way too hot to keep a baby on the beach for a long period of time. As you can see in one of the collage photos little Oliver was quickly headed for a nap and we were all headed back to the air conditioned house for a nap ourselves.

ReplyDeleteHi Joyce...How adorable! Babies and the beach just don't seem to get along that first trip, do they? My grandson just returned with pretty much the same results! However, I hope that YOU had a wonderful trip! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like a beach baby!! So reminiscent of my childhood on Long Island and my kids on the Jersey Shore. Great mosaic. I just wanted to also mention that your header is wonderful...all of the elements speak to me...the garden the tablecloth, the patio stones..wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! It is ridiculously hot and from what they say, this heat will last the entire week.
ReplyDeleteJust go out early so you have more sandy moments. Oliver is a doll.
