wordless wednesday...

I know that it is wordless wednesday but some of my photos on my previous posts are just disappearing into thin air and I can't figure out why? Anyone else having this problem or had this problem? Any solutions?

  1. Where do you keep the pix you post? Are they on the internet somewhere? Did you delete them from wherever they are stored after you posted them? If so that is the reason they vanished... if you store them on Picasa, for instance, and then decide to delete them, well they will vanish from your post because they are really only linked to your blog .. link gone, so goes the photo.

If this is not what you do, then I have no explanation.

I can say this tho, the first book, Twilight, was fun .. the second not so much and the movie ... well it really was a long one and while true to the book .. it was slow and dull and had some of the worst hair and make up I have seen in a movie since L.A. Confidential...

  3. Looks to me as if putting photos in your blog is rather a hit and miss affair altogether. I edit mine in Fotostation Easy and upload them from a folder in there that I keep just for blog pictures. After I'm done with them in there I move them to whatever folder I really want them in.

Having said that, I have had a lot of trouble lately trying to upload photos and get them where I want them. Just when I think I've got it sorted, something else happens!

  4. After reading a post at thepioneerwoman.com about moving her blog, I started using photobucket.com to store my photos. After you create an account at photobucket, you just upload your photos there.. pretty easy to figure out. I let it automatically resize all my photos to 640x480 as they are uploaded (except logos and I do them small... different sizes to choose from). Then you can link to the photos online.. just click on "direct link" then copy and paste. Not exactly rocket science but let me know if you have problems! No matter where your photos are uploaded and stored, if you move one then it won't show up on your blog. Pictures have to stay in the exact same location... kind of like if I move the glasses to a different cabinet in the kitchen, Pa can't find them.

  6. I have no idea either, I upload mine to blogger directly from my computer and have never had a problem. I don't know where they store them, but it works for me. Hope someone stops by that can be more useful than I've been. Sorry.

  7. Just for your info: Mozilla browser also gave me the same problem as yours, so now I switch to use Internet explorer. Maybe you can try to use IE sometime.
