ReplyDeleteHaving said that I suppose you want to know why .. well, when I was a little kid there was a storm that woke me, Dad said I could sit with him and watch TV! But he was watching baseball .. and I was bored... never forgave the sport for being so dull that I fell asleep on the couch and didnt get to stay up with Dad watching TV.

Oakland A's, we have only just discovered baseball here in the USA and have only been to two games so far but have to say we had such a great time, not sure of all the rules and regulations yet but we are getting there, happy OW, Kathy.

ReplyDeleteGreat idea for a post!! I haven't been to a game yet, but I will!! Big time White Sox fan but will go to a Cubs game if tickets are free (isn't it nice to have two teams!). Love the nacho's, peanuts and beer. The bars outside Wrigley Field are loads of fun!

Smoltz (what's up with him leaving the Braves?) came from my home town...Lansing, MI, but I'm a die-hard Tigers fan. I'm in NYC this week and I miss my Tigers more than my husband. {I can see my husband 12 months out of the year...the Tigers only six.} I attend spring training and have devoted my game room to "my boys." My son met me in Cleveland for Mother's Day and the gift of a Tiger sweep of the Indians. :-)
