I belong to a cooking light cooking group. We meet once a month. The hostess decides the theme, buys the wine, soft drinks, and sets her table. We participate by cooking or baking an item that fits the chosen theme. This months theme was "Barefoot In The Park". Our wonderful hostess supplied the park which was conveniently located adjacent to her home. She even found wine that was labeled BAREFOOT (click on photo to see). How cute was that?
Do you belong to a fun cooking group or take cooking classes?
Inquiring minds want to know.
What a lot of fun that must be. The collage is wonderful; makes me hungry!
ReplyDeleteNo to both of your questions, but I can wish!
Hi Joyce, I enlarged the photo and the food looks fabulous. A cooking/eating group is a wonderful idea I have never heard of it before; it sounds like a good excuse to cook and have a laugh!
ReplyDeleteThis food group sounds like so much fun. I would like to be a part of one, but there is nothing like that around here.
ReplyDeletewhat a fun time for you! looks like you have a great group and loads of fun~
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I will be happy to send your parents a card. I have to go to the post office in a little bit. So if you could give me an address I will drop them in the mail today.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment and for sending Joann a card. You're the best!
Hugs,
Crystal
What a nice group you are ... I am betting you took the photo ... and it sounds like a really nice way to spend an evening
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry, Joyce. I must have misread your comment. I need to slow down and read things better in the future. Have a good evening!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun group....and we really have to follow through with that cooking class at the Viking school....Maybe in the fall when everyone is though with vacations....We'll talk about it over lunch....I'm going to miss you on Wednesday but the beach is the beach!
ReplyDeleteHi Joyce!
ReplyDeleteI'm back from Colorado. Your cooking club sounds like fun! No. I never took a formal lesson ...maybe someday. I'd love to leanr how to make fancy italian pastries!
Barefoot wines are a favorite of ours and we especially like "Barefoot Bubbly"! -- I recognize the rice salad in one of the pictures!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it -- sounds like a fun time!
Joyce - thanks for coming by and hope to see you again at my blog. Oh I love me some Barefoot! I'll be back too!
